Disneyland ran a contest, of sorts, on Thursday for the second “meet-up” event. In May Disneyland did something similar where contest winners were treated to an after hours event at Toy Story Midway Mania and a meet and greet with imagineers. See a story on the Disney Blog here. This time around the theme will be centered on World of Color and the lucky 300 guests have special seating for the show, a behind the scenes look at the World of Color and a chance to meet with the creators.
Disney annoucned the details via the Disney Blog at 11am PST, and within 20 minutes had updated the posting with the following message:
UPDATE: We’re thrilled with the great response to the “World of Color” Meet-Up! We have reached capacity. At approximately 2:00 p.m. PT, we will send the meet-up attendees a confirmation email. By 5:00 p.m. PT, we will post a link to the complete list of attendees. If you are on the list and did not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at meetups@disney.go.com. Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for additional meet-ups in the future.
