Disney announced today that Mulholland Madness, a small roller coaster at Disney California Adventure Park will be closed down for good on October 12th, in order to make way for the overlay of a new theme. The ride will remain virtually the same, although the theme will change.
Inspired by the 1940′s cartoon short, “Goofy’s Glider”, it will become a type of flying academy that will attempt to teach guests how to fly.
Disneyland also announced that Bountiful Valley Farms, would close for good on September 7 to make room for “Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree”, a new attraction for Cars Land expected to open in 2012.
