Disneyland is adding the ‘Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree’ to its list of weekend entertainment. Starting May 3rd, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Festival Arena area will come alive as your favorite Disney characters throw a ‘hoedown’ featuring music, crafts, pin trading, and dancing.
The Festival Arena is located behind the Big Thunder Ranch and is typically reserved for private parties and special events. It will be nice to see Disneyland utilize this area, which sits unused most of the time. With the closure of the Carnation Plaza Gardens occurring at the end of April, Disney performing Arts will also be moved to the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree. Even though their performances will be tucked away in this back corner, it is nice to see Disneyland continue with this tradition of community enrichment and musical ensembles.
