A few weeks ago, while going through some old boxes, I found a DVD containing a promotional video for Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary event in 2005. We are only one month away from the relaunch of Disney California Adventure, with the opening of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street, and the magnitude of what will happen this summer has been compared to that of Disneyland’s 50th anniversary summer. For many, that celebration event provided great memories of the “Happiest Homecoming on Earth”, and I though it would be appropriate to share it with everyone.
This is footage from a Disneyland 50th Anniversary Promotional DVD which was mailed out to Annual Passholders and could be requested by mail through Disney’s various parks and resorts websites. The DVD was basically a commercial for the “Happiest Homecoming on Earth” where Disney parks around the world celebrated Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary simultaneously in 2005.
