In addition to the already popular Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Haunted Mansion Holiday overlays, Disneyland will be adding a “Halloween Carnival” to this year’s Halloween Time celebration. The Halloween Carnival will be added to the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree on the backside of Frontierland. The Halloween Carnival, a holiday themed rebranding of entertainment currently available in the area as well as activities from years past, will feature entertainment, pumpkin carvers, activities, crafts, merchandise, treats, midway carnival games such as a ring toss, and your favorite Disney characters in their Halloween costumes.
Disney Villains will also make visits at the Halloween Carnival, and a Magic Cauldron Sideshow will entertain guests.

The Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree first opened in April of this year as a meet and greet location featuring dancing, crafts, pin trading and merchandise. Billy Hill and the Hillbillies were moved onto the Jamboree stage this past summer in an attempt to draw guests to the location. Bill Hill and the “Haunted” Hillbillies will continue to entertain guests at the Halloween Carnival.
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will kick off on September 14 and run through October 31, 2012. The Halloween Carnival will be open on most days.
