Welcome Back to the Disneyland Resort!
The 2012 Candlelight Ceremony and Processional performances began this past weekend. Out of the four performances Saturday – Sunday only one wasn’t effected by the wet weather, leaving the second on Saturday and the two on Sunday canceled.
Saturday and Sunday night’s performances were invitation only events, with the first of the Annual Passholder contest nights being tonight. The winners of the contest were notified this past week via email and were given their date, time and instructions. We have all of those details for you here.

| Downtown Disney |
The poorly executed portions of the Holiday Village in Downtown Disney which we showed you last week have been removed.

The street signs with the “snow” and the empty news stand have been removed.

Downtown Disney is hosting a Toys for Tots toy drive from now through Dec 10th at most Downtown Disney Stores.
US Marines will be on hand again on Dec 8th at the main stage in Downtown Disney. Each person donating a toy on that day between 12p and 5p will receive a free $5 ESPN Zone game card.

Disneyland has expanded the ID requirement of guests using 4 and 5 day passports to all muli-day passports. Any guest entering either park with any multi-day passport must show their ID at any of the turnstiles.

That’s going to do it for this week’s update. You can see the past updates here.
